Cheer wrapped up in December, with the competition
being the icing on the cake! The girls worked so hard (and so did Coaches Melissa and Ryan!) in order to prepare for
competition, and they were looking so good that they did not
enter as a show team, but a competition team – even going against 8 year olds!

My high flyer on competition day. Don't let her look of sheer panic fool you...she had a blast, I just think the huge auditorium scared all of the girls! And yes, this is a picture taken with my phone on the computer...I'm too cheap to buy the photographer's photos :-)
I am so proud of how all the girls did - they got THIRD PLACE!! They were only 5/8 a point away from first, which was the WCYFA team of 8 year olds. SO proud of this great group of girls.
Here is Ava with the trophy that was almost as tall as her! She loved cheer so much that she keeps asking when she will get to cheer again.
