Celebrate the Holidays!

Saturday morning we took the kids to the Children's Christmas parade in downtown. While the weather was in the 30s, thank goodness there wasn't much wind and were able to stay warm! From Spiderman (Dylan's favorite), to Wow Wow Wubzy (Ava Grace's favorite), to the headlining Selena Gomez, to the largest horse in the Guiness World Record (Michael's favorite), to the Star Wars section of the parade (my favorite of course), we all had such a blast. Thanks to the man sitting right behind me, I learned something about parades with large balloons. If you yell loud enough when they go by, the people manning the balloon will run in a circle and spin it - which gets the audience going crazy. This caught on like wild fire in our bleacher, and Dylan loved every minute of it! Every time a balloon would come, Dylan would yell "Spin It!" his very loudest. I guess you have to be there to appreciate balloon-spinning :-)
